Your stay with us at Cedar Valley Lodge starts with you arriving and will be shown the cabin(s) your group will be staying in. Once you are comfortable and settled in your cabin, you will be given a tour of our the lodge grounds if you wish.

Our new and well-maintained cabins are capable to host large or small groups of guests ranging from 4 to 10 people. All cabins are equipped with a fully functional kitchen and all the necessities needed, solar power lights in cabins, beds and fresh linens, lounging areas, fire stoves and large decks to enjoy the views of the lake.

You will need to bring your own food and water/drinks, towels, life jackets, and personal items and toiletries.

Be sure to check with the lodge about what your cabin offers and a list of suggested items to bring with you can be found at the bottom of this page.

At Cedar Valley Lodge we proud ourselves with minimizing the impact on the natural environment in many different ways

  • We installed solar power system which gives us enough power to run on sustainable energy and use generators only as emergency back up.
  • We choose eco-friendly soap and supplies because they break down easily.
  • We encourage guests to recycle much as possible including fallen trees for burning in the stoves/bon fires.
  • We continue to reuse old material in building new cabins  with better insulation.

Our cabins include:

  • Electric fridge and lights
  • Propane stove
  • Running water
  • Pots, pans, dishes and utensils
  • Sheets, blankets and pillows
  • BBQ
  • Wood stove for heating
  • We have two new central washrooms/showers and new laundry room.
  • We built a brand new larger fish cleaning facility with running water
  • Private dock for boat launch offers large free parking in Laniel, QC at Baie du Huard.

Children under the age of 16 stay FREE of charge and MUST be accompanied by an adult at all times. There are no lifeguards on the lake/at the lodge.
